Shapewear Size Guide: How to Find Your Perfect Fit

Shapewear Size Guide: How to Find Your Perfect Fit

Most shapewear problems (rolling, digging in, lines under clothes) come from the wrong size. Two minutes with a tape measure fixes that.

How to measure

  • Waist: around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and glutes, feet together.
  • Bust (for bodysuits): around the fullest part, with the tape level across your back.

Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure over bare skin or thin underwear.

Read the chart on the product page

Each product page has its own size chart, and sizes can differ between styles. Always compare your measurements with the chart of the piece you're buying rather than the size you usually wear.

When to size up

Shaping pieces are designed to fit snug and many run small. If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger one. Going smaller doesn't shape more: it just makes the piece roll and feel uncomfortable.

How it should feel

Firm but comfortable. You should be able to breathe, sit and move freely. For waist trainers, start with a few hours at a time.
